  • A closer look at your trees by a Board Certified Master Arborist can show you that those black areas on top of the leaves and the white dots underneath are not just effects of the cold weather or an abundance of rainfall. It is actually disease caused by various insects that have attacked the tree, causing branches to remain bare and leaf size to be less than half. A tree like this needs to be treated with specially mixed fertilizers and nutrients that are specific to each type of tree. Another reason to call Sterling Tree & Lawn.

  • Chance are that you have put tens of thousands of dollars into the landscape on your estate. There is no property today that doesn't have some type of problem affecting their trees and plants. It could be the planting or transplanting of trees was not done correctly, or possibly electric cables for outdoor lighting that were laid underground cut through roots of surrounding trees, leaving part of the those trees without proper nourishment. Many times it is simply a tree that needs to be taken out of its downward spiral, where year after year less branches sprout new leaves until the tree looks like firewood. Isn't it smarter to save your landscape than it is to replace it?

  • Sterling Tree & Lawn has a highly trained staff to serve you from Queens out to Southhampton and everywhere in between. Our trained technicians hold certification from the ISA (International Society of Arborists) and use the latest technology to take care of your property. Our specialty is tree spraying as well as flea and tick control. We also have a proprietary method of deep root fertilization that will take a dying tree out of its downward spiral. You will be surprised to see the trees you have given up on come to life again. Call Sterling Tree & Lawn.

Fertilize and Save Your Trees

Deep Root Fertilizing uses a special wand to inject a blend of nutrients about 4-6 inches below the surface of the soil. As most feeder roots lie within the in first 12 inches of soil, the fertilizer is optimally placed.

Why Should I Deep Root Fertilize My Trees and Plants?

There are many benefits to your trees of applying our specially formulated fertilizer:

•           Rejuvenate and improve soil structure

•           Stimulate root and stem growth

•           Slow release nitrogen provides continuous, steady feeding throughout the season

•           Encourage symbiotic activity

•           Correct deficiencies (including decline and chlorosis — yellowing of leaves)

•           Break-up compacted soil caused by foot traffic.

When Should I Deep Root Fertilize My Trees and Plants?

Now is the perfect time! Root growth starts now making it the ideal time to fertilize. The fertilizer needs to be applied so it is readily available in the spring when most trees ‘awake’ from dormancy. Fertilizing now will ensure a  healthy start in the spring.

Act Now!!!

Don’t wait until you see signs of stress to schedule your trees for this necessary application. even trees that appear happy and healthy may be struggling to find the nutrients they need. Trees that do exhibit signs of stress have likely been in a difficult situation for a long time. Give your trees what they need by signing them up for a Deep Root Fertilizing. You will reap the benefits of healthy, vigorous trees.
